Witch is still AWOL, daughter is sick

Three days overdue and still no witch. My temperature went up again this morning, but that may have been because I barely got three hours of sleep. Stayed up late writing a paper and went to bed at 3:30 AM, waking up to take my temperature at 6:30 AM:

If it drops again, I’m going to discard today’s temperature.

The bad news is that the lymph node behind my daughter’s right ear is infected, and she needs to take antibiotics for 10 days to fix it. The good news is, the follow-up appointment is with Dr. Sark! I’ll get to see him again without having to wait to get pregnant or break a leg or get the flu! Happy Dance

The other good news in my life:

  • My cousin’s wife recently gave birth to a healthy daughter. She had a natural childbirth at a birthing center and it looks like it was such a beautiful experience. Helps to confirm my sentiments on wanting a natural birth for #2.
  • My younger sister just got engaged!! Oh my gosh, I am so happy for her! I have met her boyfriend-now-fiancé and I think he is a great guy. So perfect for her. We come from a family of five children and she is my only sister and will be only the second of us to get married. I can’t wait. My only hope is that my pending pregnancy does not conflict with her nuptials, because I want to be there.

Anyways, I just finished a ~15-page paper and completed my hardest final for the semester, and I’m proud of myself. Two papers and one more easy-mode final to go.
